If you really want to burn some fat, I suggest swimming some laps in a pool. I joined a gym a few months ago to be able to take advantage of their swimming facilities. I had read somewhere that you burn fat by doing aerobic activities. Swimming laps is extremely aerobic, especially when you don’t stop. I never realized that you have to have some coordination to swim laps.
You’ve got to turn your head at just the right time to be able to grab that much needed breath of air. Swimming laps in a pool has helped me lose weight as well as build a stronger heart. If you don’t like swimming in pools because of the chlorination you can swim in lakes or in the ocean if you live near one. Just be careful when swimming in an ocean, my dad was swimming once in the ocean and got caught in a rip tide. Those can be quite traumatic. When you are practically swimming for your life, trying to get back to shore. Thank goodness he was finally able to get out of it and make it safely back to the sandy beach.
